These Terms and Conditions govern all exterior property maintenance and cleaning services provided by BD Premium Property Care Limited ("we", "us", "our") accessed via bdpropertycare.ie or booked directly by any client ("you", "your"). By booking an estimate, using our online estimator tool, or permitting us to commence work on your property, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified. Online estimates are based on general measurements or information provided by the client; if hidden issues, unexpected severe contamination, structural defects, or inaccurate details arise once work begins, we reserve the right to adjust the price, and any variation will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding. All prices quoted may be subject to VAT where applicable.
The client must ensure uninterrupted access to the property, including outdoor water sources, electricity supply (if required), and work areas, on the scheduled date and time. Any pre-existing damage, fragile surfaces, loose roof tiles, faulty seals, or leaky windows must be disclosed prior to work commencing; we are not liable for pre-existing damage revealed during cleaning. For safety, children and pets must be kept away from the immediate work zone at all times.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client agrees to supply access to an outdoor water tap and electricity if required. We accept no liability for equipment disruption or delays caused by insufficient or interrupted local water supplies.
We clear gutters and downpipes of blockages but do not inspect underground drainage integrity, and are not responsible for overflow or pooling caused by blocked underground downpipes or full soakaways. We apply industry-standard methods but accept no liability for stripping loose, degraded, or flaking paint/render that was already failing, nor for minor botanical drift or damage to plants unless caused by gross negligence. Claims for property damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of service completion, with photographic evidence.
Exterior property maintenance is weather-dependent. In severe weather, we reserve the right to reschedule the job to the next available date without financial penalty.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless a prior corporate credit or invoice agreement has been established in writing. Late payments may incur a fixed administrative late-payment charge and reasonable debt recovery costs, in line with applicable Irish commercial payment regulations.
Clients may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less notice, or on-site access failures due to client fault, may incur a call-out or cancellation fee.
8.3 Statutory Cancellation Rights (Distance Contracts): Where you book as a consumer via a distance means (our website, online form, or telephone), you may also have a statutory right to cancel your contract within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason, under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013. By confirming a service date that falls within this 14-day period, you expressly request that we begin work before the cancellation period ends, and you acknowledge that once the service has been fully carried out, you lose this right to cancel. If you cancel after work has started but before it's finished, you will be liable to pay an amount proportionate to the service already provided up to that point.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
